As I build new memories at Warwick…I can’t help but think back on all the wonderful memories of Mumbai…of Singapore..of my life pre-Warwick…

While the whole world goes out ‘trick or treating’…

I have begun to wonder that I got the ‘trick’ option by default…

Week 5 has sneakily crept its way in and it you can feel the tension in the air…the library is packed with the cohort all wondering if the MBA has turned into a Hygiene factor…(ok too much dosage of Organisational Behaviour)…but at the end of the day..I think it is thrilling experience…loving every moment of it…discussing problems…arguing solutions…banging head against wall…filling up on caffeine…all of it!!!

To my cohort..the TREAT is almost here…

tomorrow night to be precise when we shall party till the wee hours at…drumroll… Terrace Bar..!

Till then….just minimise your Balancing Loss…(oh lord…I have lost it)

Ka!!

Spent the whole morning in Market Analysis reviewing the marketing strategy for the Ford Ka…the data seemed to give different conclusions…some believe that it is meant for women…others feel it is more for the single working trendy individual…while the rest thought it if for small families….clearly looks like it suits everybody unless you have 5 kids, 1 dog and 2 cats..!! it would be wise to invest in a truck then!

Some trivia for you..the Ka was used in the latest Bond: Quantum of Solace by the chica…clearly making it the Bond Girl Car!!!

The Major Brain Accelerator (MBA)has commenced!!!

The first 2 weeks at Warwick have passed by in the blink of a second…this is where you blame Einstein! But in introspect, what an amazing time it has been…discussing..sharing…and simply chatting with 65 classmates from over 30 countries…with a total work experience of…wait for it….490 years!!! WOW!

The modules…some are rather interesting and exciting like Operations Management….which get the brain ticking..while some can be rather short circuiting a.k.a Accounting! (need to burn some midnite oil on this one!) There have already been many assessments…psychometric tests…career overviews…sector overviews….which have led to 2 questions which I REALLY need to ponder about….

What do I want to do after the MBA? What will make be happy???

Isn’t this a toughie!!!

But it is Friday…time to chill..and head to Lemington for some drinks….

The air is ripe with it!!

It has been almost 4 months since I departed the warm cosy and comforting shores of Singapore….of which 3 were spent relaxing in Bombay while the rest were used to explore and travel…

It was a good break!!!

and now it is time to go back to school….to be precise Warwick Business School for an MBA…

The place is truly awesome…and with a cohort so diverse and so talented, I think it shall be a great experience indeed…So, Today after an intensive and highly motivational workshop with Nicholas Bate…I have decided to ACT! and one of the first steps is giving this blog the much needed CPR…

So stay tuned as I share my journey through the Warwick MBA….

Getting your groove on at the Frog

Not Just any frog…I am talking about The Blue Frog!

Mumbai…has definitely changed! After spending most of the past decade in Singa-LAnd…my own maximum city feels as if it has gone thru a massive makeover…especially in its Music scene…and ‘The Blue Frog’ is a livin testament!!

The Blue Frog! The name itself creates an excitement…a euphoria…Having heard so much about this place..through all the international reviews…Lehmunade, 3G and I checked out this place last nite…and what a fun nite it was..

Escaping to the 80-90′s with this awesome band… ‘The Other People’ This energetic lively hip band really know how to set the tempo…and get you down on the dance floor…croaking along with them to the great retro hits!!

Kudoos.. to the Blue Frog for promoting such an active live music scene in Mumbai..

Do check it out when in Mumbai!!

After a long break…this has certainly got me motivated to write a new post….

What is it about Apple…the perfect aesthetic design..the crisp metal and glass finishes…the simplicity in adapting to a new device…surely they know what the heart desires!

Ever since I got hooked to the iPhone…it has become an integral part of me…it is my portkey to the outside world…and today i cannot imagine living without it….

Now Apple has outdone itself (yet again)…

the iPhone4..with multitasking, video-conferencing, 5m camera and more…is truly a new masterpiece…time to upgrade to this beauty!

Perfect ambience for a nice relaxed brunch..excellent food (do try the Eggs and the Greek yogurt)…delightful desserts and really friendly staff…
